Lionhead Rabbits

The breed is rather new; it originated in Belgium in 1990’s. These animals’ coat is short and rolls back with little or no long hair on the sides. The most important part of their appearance is the mane that should be long and pronounced; it is a kind of trade mark of the breed.

These creatures don’t demand much breeding and some special feeding; they are rather inexpensive to keep. Their prices range from $50 to $150 depending mainly on color and ancestry.
